01 · Problem

Enterprise account teams needed a consistent way to identify whitespace and focus attention across a large, complex client portfolio.

02 · System

Account-program governance and scoring tools translated strategic priorities into repeatable views for executive and field personas.

03 · Outcome

The Top-150 Client Partner Program covered roughly 65% of company revenue and was supported by sales and whitespace-scoring applications.

Context

Enterprise sales transformation has two interfaces: the decision system and the organizational adoption system. A technically correct model fails if leaders and account teams cannot use it in their own operating cadence.

Architecture

  1. 01Account selection and program governance
  2. 02Whitespace and opportunity scoring logic
  3. 03Distinct executive and field-representative views
  4. 04Change-management routines around adoption

Decisions & trade-offs

Design for two decision altitudes

Executives needed portfolio patterns while field teams needed specific account actions. The system separated those views without separating the underlying data.

Evidence

  • Top-150 Client Partner Program spanning roughly 65% of company revenue
  • Sales and whitespace-scoring applications for executive and field personas
  • Change-management work codified in an ACMP case study

What this taught me

  • Transformation becomes real only when strategy changes the next decision someone makes.
